ANDREW TRACEY

Andrew Tracey is a long time collaborator with Bulldog Gear. A coach, writer and current fitness editor of Men’s Health Magazine, he has been in and around the fitness industry for the past 17 years. Having enjoyed and endured a number of disciplines from endurance racing, to strongman, to Crossfit AT enjoys getting neck deep in the practice just as much as the theory.

FAVOURITE EXERCISE?
— The muscle-up: A big pull, a controlled push and a great diagnostic tool to assess you mobility, flexibility and just how ‘functional’ any bulk you’re carrying is.
Favourite post workout feed?
— There’s no bad time to eat pizza, is there?
Dumbbells or kettlebells?
— I’m going to have to answer this with a technicality - if I can only have ONE, I’d take a single kettlebell, if I can have a pair, I’m going for the dumbbells.
Favourite fitness book?
— ‘The Arnold Schwarzenegger Modern Encyclopaedia of Bodybuilding’- 100’s of pages of pure inspiration and some incredible pictures from the absolute golden age of physical culture.
FAVOURITE WORKOUT?
— ‘Murph’. Push, pull, squat, move - all your bases covered.
